TIMES Project

The TIMES (Teaching Inquiry-based Minnesota Earth Science) Project is a field-based program that provides Middle- and High-School teachers of Earth Science to build and expand their knowledge and understanding of geology local to the area they teach in. The field experience models active inquiry, and is complemented by multiple opportunities to work on translation of the field experience into a classroom learning for the teachers. TIMES is managed through the Center for Global Environmental Education at Hamline University.

Kate has been the Lead Instructor for Metro-based TIMES, and a St. Cloud-based TIMES since 2002.
